Re: what eva  01.17.05

Eva,

I was once a loner also (as Isaiah).  Perhaps for other reasons as a child growing up in Mississippi, where my mother ran her grocery store, there were not any children within a half mile of where I lived.

My dad was sent to
Arizona in 1945 and where we were forced to live. The manager of the complex did not allow children to play in the yard.  We were living on the wrong side of town due to the war; housing was hard to find.  So I was not allowed to go to the park etc.

At this time I was about 9 years old. I continued to play by myself and found something that I love to this day--books.  I read at least on novel a week and one or two journals (I might add--before Pastor gets on me--and my Sunday School lesson).

I was a loner (even in High School) until I discovered photography.  I started taking pictures for the school newspaper and yearbook.  Then I made the mistake of taking a speech class.  From that point on I have changed from a loner to one that others long to get rid of.

It is said that a quiet child, one that tries to figure things out (and why, and how they work) is destined for greatness. So perhaps you have another Einstein.

 Al Warren
