Pastor Rob Patterson 653 A Street Galt,
These are some of
the verses that I was reading for
daily devotions during the days that I was working part time jobs with flex
hours;
caring for the babies (Joe and Jerry) during the morning hours;
Cathy was working with the
Developmentally Disabled adults
at McKercher Sheltered Workshop in
before I started at the Paper Mill (and before moving to Alpha and Omega
Ministries).
Proverbs 23:15-16
My son, if your heart is wise,
then my heart will be glad;
my inmost being will rejoice
when your lips speak what is right.
and
let your eyes keep to my ways,
27-28 for a
prostitute is a deep pit and a wayward wife is a narrow well.
Like a bandit she lies in wait,
and multiplies the unfaithful among men.
Proverbs 31:10-11; 20
A
wife of noble character who can find?
She is worth far more than rubies.
11 Her husband has full confidence in her
and lacks nothing of value.
She
opens her arms to the poor
and extends her hands to the needy.
Revelation 17:17
16“I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give
you[a] this testimony for the churches.
I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”
17The Spirit and the
bride say, “Come!”
And let him who hears say,
“Come!”
Whoever is thirsty, let him
come;
and whoever wishes, let him take
the free gift of the water of life.
