Maranatha! Our Lord, Come!   By Al Warren

looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ” (Ti. 2:13).

Each night my wife prays that Jesus will come tonight.  She says she will not have to hurt anymore. In thinking about this prayer I think back to where Jesus tells us to be ready because we do not know when He is coming. We should all be praying why not tonight or today. We would be doing this if we believed His Word and we would make sure that we are ready. When he does come we should not be surprised because we were looking for something else and not expecting His Coming. It is not a doctrine matter it is a real event. He is coming again. It is a question of us being ready and expecting His coming by obedience and faith. We, as believers, should live our lives in a way that if He came today we could stand in front of Him and shout, “Praise God! Jesus you have come..”
