Dr. Dwight Honeycutt is convinced that the serious study of the history of Christianity provides insights from the past which can enhance ones ministry in the present and the future. He joined the seminary faculty in 1988 after more than a decade as a missionary professor in Colombia. He is the author of works both in English and Spanish. Reflecting his love for the local church, Dr. Honeycutt is often found serving congregations as interim pastor.

His wife, Pat, is a musician and travel consultant. They have three adult children and three grandchildren: Mallory, Matthew, and Ana Katherine.
