Joseph Patterson, a student of Jesus Christ by the will of God,
To the saints in Galt, the faithful in Christ Jesus:
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
I thank God for you whenever I remember the website or consider your kindness to those in Liberia. 4I rejoice whenever I receive a new e-mail correspondence in fulfillment of my requests. I cannot forget your faithfulness to me, though I am away from you. 5I have heard of your prayers for me and am glad that you are doing the will of God in this way.
As a student in God's classroom, I urge you to seek the lessons God places in your life. Do not be afraid to learn from the Teacher, he seeks your good. 7Do not live any longer as children without a classroom, not as babies. 8Remember that God has you in a place where He can instruct you in every good deed.
Neither should you be jealous of your neighbor if they have something seemingly better to show or tell. 10What God has given to you is precious and valuable to be shared at the proper time under the proper circumstances.
Honor your classmates and work well with those whom God has placed in your group. Can one member say to the other, I can do the work myself? Of course not! 12Some are called to be readers, others to take notes, but all are called to work together and it is God that provides the understanding.
Greet those in the household of Pastorob, Greet Eva, Al and Cathy Warren, and Tom Lane who write to me about their daily lives. Greet Papa and Grandma Fugate. 14Greet Joshua our Jewish brother. Greet Terry Shepherd who works hard towards our hospitality. 15Greet all the other precious members of Christ's body and those who have been added in my absence.
Dr. Mobley, my teacher of "Paul and the Early Church," sends you his greetings.
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
